Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from preparing the church bulletins, to teaching bible study. Here are some service opportunities in our church.

Media & Technology
Using technology to spread the gospel is a privilege in this church. Our audio & visual tech team is an integral part of our weekly church service and is always looking for those who are interested in serving with us.
Special Music
Allowing everyone to be involved in God-honoring worship is something that we strive for as a church body. Some play their instruments. Others are vocalists. Others do sign language. Still Others are involved in dramas. Everyone has an opportunity to showcase their talents for the glory of God.
Sewing Ministry
Our sewing ministry meets once a month for a quilting group, but you don’t have to know how to quilt to be apart of it! Many times we are working on projects to donate to the New Life Pregnancy Center, Arizona Baptist Children’s Services, Wheels for the World, and children across the globe.
We believe that prayer is the key to a vibrant and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, therefore we put an emphasis on prayer within the Body. We meet every Sunday morning at 9 AM for prayer 30 minutes before services begin. We also have a prayer service once a month on Sunday evenings. Please come and join us for these opportunities.
The hospitality ministry is established to create an atmosphere of love, fellowship, and excitement for everyone who enters the church through a friendly welcome, knowledgeable information about the church, and help for those who need it. From serving in the organization of pot-luck fellowships, to greeting those that enter the church there are multiple opportunities to serve in this ministry.
Outreach & Missions
We believe the mission of the church is to make disciples (Matt. 28:18-20). Thus, our Outreach and Missions ministry exists to make disciples of all nations (beginning locally and extending globally). Some of our local outreach involves reaching out to the community by sharing the love of Christ in providing food for families, school supplies for students, and several other areas. Globally we reach out by providing bicycles to pastors in Mozambique, dolls and clothing for children in Haiti, and wheelchairs for those affected by disability across the world through Wheels for the World.
